Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
2 cups self-raising flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
2 pinches bicarbonate of soda
2 tablespoons boiling water
2 dessertspoons butter
Extra butter for frying
Mix flour, sugar, beaten eggs, milk and bicarbonate of soda together. Add melted butter with boiling water.
Cook in small teaspoonfuls in a hot frying pan with a
little butter.
